To apply for a Professorial post under the Global Talent Attraction Platform you must hold a PhD or equivalent, be leading an internationally recognised research portfolio in an area aligned with Strathclyde’s strategic priorities, as well as publishing in leading international journals and pursuing funding opportunities from both the UK and international sources. Exceptionally, an application outwith one of these strategic areas will be accepted if you can clearly express how your research expertise aligns with the University’s strategic interests.
Experience of multi-disciplinary research projects, knowledge exchange activities and/or academic teaching would be advantageous.
